Horizontology describes a way of living that recognizes the value, power and positive effects of lying down. The horizontologist seeks to maximize time spend in the horizontal position and minimize time spent in the vertical. Whereas people usually associate lying down with resting or sleeping, the horizontologist practices mindful repose in which creativity, communication, and human health are optimized. Horizontology encompasses ergomnomics, philosophy, economics, human evolution, cosmology, psychology, and sexuality. Non action is superior to action. Stopping is the sacred choice. With the simple act of lying down, the horizontologist travels to the potential of human existence.
